About Exeter CVS

exeter-cvs-buildingExeter CVS supports voluntary action by individuals and organised groups and helps to develop local initiatives to meet community needs.We provide advice, information, updates and low cost training to help improve the effectiveness of your group or organisation.  We also act as advocates and representatives, and build social capital and partnerships.
Exeter CVS is a registered charity (No. 1100990) and company limited by guarantee (No. 4928733) which:

  • encourages, supports and develops individuals, groups and organisations involved in voluntary action to help them work more effectively
  • promotes and supports new initiatives which address areas of social inclusion, economic disadvantage and community development
  • works in partnership with the public and private sectors in order to help develop a more just and caring society.

Transforming Local Infrastructure Bid Success

Voluntary sector infrastructure organisations across Devon are celebrating the award of £400,000 from the BIG Lottery Fund to help improve the services they provide to other charities and community organisations across the county.
