An overview of the various ways you can influence what issues are raised and voted on in Parliament.

Exploring the various ways to engage with Parliament including writing to your MP, getting a question raised in the House of Commons,  requesting an Early Day Motion or Adjournment debate, contacting parliamentary special interest groups and providing evidence to a Select Committee.

This course will focus on:

  • An overview of the various ways to engage effectively with Parliament including:
  • Writing to your MP
  • Getting a question raised in the House of Commons
  • Requesting an Early Day Motion
  • Requesting an Adjournment debate
  • Contacting parliamentary special interest groups
  • Providing evidence to a Select Committee
  • Become equipped to better understand and interact with Parliament
