Partnership and Outcomes

Don’t go it alone: this course will help you understand the potential of effective partnerships in helping organisations achieve their outcomes. The day offers a chance to identify outcomes for your activities and to explore how these might be achieved through partnership and consortia working. There will be an opportunity to clearly understand the jargon around outcomes and set them within the current funding context Deborah Fisher from the Devon Consortium Commissioning Project will update on the Devon scene.
There is an enthusiasm from government and funders for partnership and consortia, we will explore how engaging with this might help you achieve the outcomes you have set for your activities; this will include looking at different models and the legal implications, as well as considering how appropriate partnership is to your organisation. The day will give you an opportunity to hear about current trends in this area from those closely involved in the work along with practical exercises to assess what your own approach should be.
