Volunteer Organiser’s Forum

This forum is for anyone co-ordinating volunteers in the Exeter area, whether working in the statutory or voluntary sector.

The Forum is a mutual support group, an information exchange and a training base. It meets every 2 months to discuss current volunteering issues, swap skills and exchange ideas of best working practice.

Exeter Volunteer Centre believes it is important and valuable that those of us working with volunteers are able to come together to share ideas and thoughts and offer support to each other. Some of us may have a wealth of experience and work for organisations which have developed all the necessary procedures and policies. Others may be quite new and working in smaller organisations still in the process of developing all the necessary volunteering infrastructure. Whatever stage you are at we believe it is useful to develop and maintain strong links and support networks with people involved in a similar type of work. This way we all learn from each other.
